Company “Rakita” and Novak Djokovic Foundation have signed in Belgrade a donation agreement in order to help find new opportunities for the advancement of pre-school institutions in the villages of Brestovac, Metovnica and Slatina, which belong to the Municipality of Bor.
The agreement represents the first step toward the realization of a project concerning rural areas of the Municipality of Bor so that children aged 5 or less could be provided with better conditions during the time they spend in kindergartens, as well as creative education.
In this way Rakita continues contributing to the local community in 2018, this time through a partnership with Novak Djokovic Foundation, whose mission is to help children in economically vulnerable areas throughout Serbia.
“What our Foundation wants is to create the opportunity for children in socially vulnerable areas to grow, play and develop in a stimulating, creative and safe environment, at the same time learning to respect others and care about their surroundings”, announced the Foundation named after the famous Serbian tennis player.
When it comes to administrative procedures regarding the realization of this valuable project, Rakita and Novak Djokovic Foundation expect good cooperation with the local government in Bor, given that pre-school education and upbringing is of immediate social interest and is being conducted as a public service in the territory of the Municipality of Bor.
