Rakita donated a five-year license for the software “SURPAC” to the Faculty of Technology in Bor, which will enable mining students to improve their knowledge of the program whose certain modules are used by Rakita.
Rakita will need experts and young engineers in the near future and therefore this donation is of great importance. In this way, students will be competitive in the field of employment in their profession, and it will be easier for them to get a job after graduation.”
This support to the high education institution in Bor, which operates within the University of Belgrade, is not accidental, since Rakita and the Faculty in Bor have been cooperating for a long time.
“Rakita has recognized the significance of this kind of software, which was acquired at their initiative, what is especially significant. This is an academic license of the program with 10 networking sites, which will fully meet our teaching needs,” says Associate Professor at the Technical Faculty in Bor, Saša Stojadinović PhD.
Rakita is dedicated to development and knowledge and has supported on a number of occasions the “International Mining and Metallurgy Consulting”, “Science Festival”, IT Entrepreneurship and professional orientation for high school students.
