Position Title: Recruitment and Selection Associate

  1. Objective: 
  • Ensures efficient candidate recruitment and selection process through transparent procedure in compliance with Rakita’s HR Policy.
  1. Primary activities and tasks include the following, other duties may be assigned:
  • Collects information on Rakita’s existing job vacancies in order of ensuring their timely identification and filling; 
  • Ensures timely advertisement of Employer’s vacant job positions; 
  • Reviews applications on basis of mandatory and desirable criteria, updates candidate database and creates lists of applicants and, in consultation with hiring department, creates candidate shortlists;
  • Formulates competency-based interview questions in coordination with other members of the interview group, organizes and monitors tests, participates in the interviews, evaluates the candidates and prepares reports on conducted interviews;
  • Organizes, administrates the recruitment and selection process and communicates with candidates, providing timely feedback;
  • Creates relevant selection process reports and monitors process and performance indicators;
  • Works on updating and improvement of the Company’s candidate database;
  • Conducts new employee orientation conversations and assists in updating of the Employee Handbook; 
  • Provides support in handling general administrative duties within the HR’s scope of work;
  • Reports timely and accurately to his/hers immediate superior and is responsible for data accuracy;
  • Adhering to ethical principles of the profession and acting in accordance with company policies and procedures;
  • Performing other duties within their education at the request of the immediate superior;
  • He/she is obliged and responsible, within the scope of his/her work, to implement measures for safe and healthy work in accordance with the safety and health at work, other relevant regulations and the Rules on Safety and Health at Work;
  • Observing environmental measures and fire protection within the scope of his/her duties;
  • Participating in ensuring the functioning of the quality system in accordance with quality standards.

  1. Reporting Responsibilities:
  • This position reports to HR Director.
  1. Department:
  • Human resources department.
  1. Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
  1. Education and/or Experience, Certificates:
  • Acquired higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent) in field of social-human sciences, preferably psychology;
  • Previous work experience in performing HR, especially recruitment & selection duties, will be considered an advantage; 
  • Strong MS Office skills, specifically advanced Excel skills;
  • Fluent in English.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities;
  • Effective teamwork skills;
  • Strong problem solving skills, excellent organizational skills, strong initiative and detail oriented.
