Warehouse keeper

Position title: Warehouse keeper

  1. Objective: Ensuring unhindered performance of business processes related to storage of goods and materials at the Employer, in accordance with relevant rules and procedures.
  2. Primary activities and tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:
  • Counts, checks, and keeps records of inbound and outbound materials and keeps the document voucher of material movement;
  • Responsible for classifying, labelling and stacking of goods and materials, as well as for appropriate warehouse layout configuration;
  • Responsible for handling Store-in and Store-out of the materials, and updating the information in SAP system;
  • Receives materials and goods into the warehouse and examines their quantity and quality, strictly following the receiving procedure;
  • Monitors the stock level of materials, and feedbacks the information in time and ensures the supply;
  • Checks the inventory of materials regularly and prepares required reports;
  • Keeps the warehouse safe and clean;
  • If necessary, may be assigned to handle a forklift in performing basic work duties;
  • Reports timely and accurately to his superior and is responsible for data accuracy;
  • Adhering to ethical principles of the profession and acting in accordance with company policies and procedures;
  • Performing other duties within their education at the request of the immediate superior;
  • He/she is obliged and responsible, within the scope of his/her work, to implement measures for safe and healthy work in accordance with the safety and health at work, other relevant regulations and the Rules on Safety and Health at Work;
  • Observing environmental measures and fire protection within the scope of his/her duties and
  • Participating in ensuring the functioning of the quality system in accordance with quality standards.

  • This position reports to Procurement Manager.

  • Marketing department. 
  1. Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
  1. Education and/or Experience, Certificates:
  • Acquired secondary education in duration of four years (mechanical or related technical background is preferred);
  • Fluent in English speaking. 
  1. Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Acquired higher education, as well as previous work experience in performing same or similar activities, shall be considered as an advantage;
  • Acquired certificate for handling a forklift will be an advantage;
  • Able to perform job function with a minimum of daily supervision,
  • Co-operative and supportive team player.
